World War Z

I've read another book. I chose World War Z as my Halloween "scary" read. Well, for the second year in a row, I chose badly. This book wasn't scary really. The author, Max Brooks did an interesting job with this book. He wrote it as a series of interviews 'after the fact'. The war has ended, millions of people dead, millions more have been re-animated into Zombies. The post interviews range from typically families to military personnel. The entire world was affected by the attack of the Zombies. Countries failed by reacting to the attacks with military force. And of course, the more men they lost, the more men the Zombies got. You can't kill the dead. Hell, I figured that out. I would think someone who enjoys historical war books would like this piece of fiction. It really is almost believable. I just don't feel I got the scary bang for my buck. "Should I read this ryan charisma?" Well honestly, if war & history are your thing, sure. But otherwise, this book is only mediocre.

ART

Hey folks, an artistical friend of mine sent me three of his latest pieces that were shown in an art show recently. Check them out and leave your comments, if you have any. I'll leave the artist as anonymous so you can feel free to leave whatever your gut reaction to the art is. I always believed that the gut reaction to art is the most honest. Please don't confuse honestly with cruel.

Politicalishness (protest proposition H8)

Momma's mad and this time I did something about it. Last night Mr. Adam & I attended the Proposition 8 protest outside the NYC Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) or as I call them "Douche Nozzles". It was great to be a part of something big, something that is now rolling along with it's own steam. Shame on California, shame on the church, shame on the California black community that voted Obama in as well as bigotry. We got your number and it will come up. Just give us time.

I have to admit, the amount of people at at the protest was amazing. I wasn't but some of the other people I met were saying how surprised they were by how many young gays attended. Outrage is outrage young or old. It's like myself, now at my young age I'm considered devastatingly gorgeous, and I'm sure as I move on in years (as I approach 29) I'm sure my beauty won't fade as it will morph into something totally more spectacular. I want to post all my fabulous pictures but that would make my page take forever to load in.
If I can share one more piece of information with everyone. Go to this site. Check out where your protest for the national day of protest for proposition H8 is. It's this Saturday. Be there and support your gays. See you at the protest!
NO MORE MR. NICE GAY!

I Voted a/k/a BITCHSLAP!

I voted(ed). Yes I did. Mr. Adam & I got up at 5:45am (as usual for the gym) but instead headed out to vote. We were in line from 6am - 7am. It took one hour for both of us to cast our ballots for this election. And it was good.
"Who did you vote for ryan charisma?" Wow aren't all of you, as my mother would say, 'out of line'? Well, I voted for the Black, Arab, Muslim, Socialist Terrorist. Yes I did. Take that you douche bag Republicans! BITCHSLAP! Even if my candidate loses, I want my voice heard. I demand to be heard. And my vote IS my voice. Listen ass wipe Christian fanatics who are their own special form of terrorist. I AM DONE WITH YOU! BITCHSLAP! Feel that wrath coming down on you and your hate? Feel that bitch slap? Good, I hope it leaves a mark.
By these record numbers of votes, I feel Obama will win this election and if he wins both the electorate & the popular vote: There will be no stopping him.
BITCHSLAP! Ah that feels good.

The B-52's LIVE

Last Saturday night, Sam, Michael & I went to see the B-52's & Hercules & Love Affair at Hammerstein's Ballroom here in NYC. What a great time! I adore Hercules & Love Affair, always have, but sadly Anthony wasn't there to sing with the band. The band kicked ass anyway, I must admit. Then the B-52's went on. They rocked the party! What a great time! The ticket price was cheap and the fun was bountiful.
I must admit, that we drank allot. It's Sam's fault, he makes us drink. After all, I was brought up with proper Christian values. Hooray for the LOVE SHACK BABY!
