TEAM DENNIS - AIDS Walk NY '08

Well, there they are! The troops that rallied to raise money in memory of Dennis L. Perrault. What a beautiful morning we had. Our TEAM DENNIS' welcome reception that Mr. Adam & I hosted the previous night didn't slow down TEAM DENNIS at all. We did good. I won't brag about the amount of money we raised, but we did well, without any other celebrity walkers other than myself. You may wonder, "ryan charisma, where are you in the picture?" Well, my petite sugarplums, I took that photo! I'm so proud of our team, we did good for Dennis. I hope he's proud.

The Amber Room

OK my buckets of love, another book! This book The Amber Room written by Steve Berry was OK. Yes that it, just OK. I found this author by asking the sales assistant at Borders who should I read that is similar to Dan Brown. This was his initial recommendation. I would venture to say Mr. Berry attempts to write in the style of Brown but he misses. At times, he gets the suspense up, but really, all in all, he's a poor man's Dan Brown.
The story is about the quest for the missing Amber Room. A room that is entirely carved out of precious amber that was once in Russian palace until Hitler attacked Russia and masterpieces started to be pillaged and stored for a Nazi Museum. The Amber Room and other pieces went missing. So the search begins in today's day & age. Quite frankly, the book is at best, OK. OK?

Sticky & Sweet, My Sugar Is Raw

WOW WOW WOW WOW!

I got it everyones! Ms. Madonna has graced the world with another absolutely delicious CD. I'm going to have to go ahead and announce right now that I have every intention of seeing her concert next fall. How could I not? I did personally promise her to go months ago. But back to the CD, Ms. Madonna has teamed up with some heavy hitters to make this CD one of her best. Of course I would be shamed by the Madonna Police if I didn't say "Ray Of Light is her best CD ever." But that aside, I love this new collection of musical morsels. I can't urge all of you enough to go out and get this CD. Of course, I bought the deluxe version with the box of candy. But you can simply purchase the regular CD, I don't mind, and I'm pretty sure Madonna needs your money. But don't hold me to that. Madgie (as I call her) might get mad I'm telling you her secrets. kisses...."my sugar is raw!"
